CTHL91 – SAS Fort A hitchlock

The Knott Avonride hitch coupling, was specially in mind when the SAS FORTA hitchlock was designed.

The SAS hitchlock gives maximum security by completely covers the hitch head and bolts and makes it insurance approved.

Very commonly used on Ifor Williams Trailers, as the majority of Ifor Williams Trailers with brakes have the Knott Avonride Hitch coupling

The FORT A hitchlock fits the Knott Avonride hitch, found on most Ifor Williams trailers and Ifor Williams horse boxes.

Please check for the writing on the hitch for the model number, to ensure you are choosing the correct hitch lock.

The FORT A will fit to your trailer hitch whilst hitched or unhitched, to your towing vehicle, whilst stationary. This prevents car park or motorway service station thieves separating your car and trailer, because access to the hitch coupling will be hindered by the robust “box cover type” hitchlock.

The maximum security ‘safe style’ lock on all Fortress (FORT) hitchlocks has twin locking pins and the lock also has anti-drill protection with stainless steel keyway pins to further increase security and defeat thieves.

The hitchlock is made of tough steel, finished in zinc pacifate, and painted bright red for maximum visual deterrent.

Compact and easily stored which makes it ideal for touring.
